Veda Slovena Bulgarian Choir voted Choir of the Day at Choir of the Year 2014!

Veda Slovena Bulgarian Choir, directed by Eugenia Georgieva, were voted Choir of the Day in the Open category at the Croydon audition round of Choir of the Year 2014 in March. The esteemed judges Mary King and Marvinder Rattan gave fantastic feedback and appreciated the uniqueness and complexity of Bulgarian folk singing. Their only criticism was that the songs were not translated into English so that the audience could join in the fun of the jokes!

The choir will perform a full concert on Wednesday 26th March 2014 at St Clement Danes Church on the Strand as part of Brandenburg Choral Festival. They will share the stage with the fantastic Borough Chamber Choir. For more info and to book your tickets please visit:
